   Caption:  This chart displays EPA Land Cover/Land Use data by Calwater Planning Watershed for the southwestern portion of the Ukiah sub-basin.  Classes are derived from a 1992 Landsat image.  These Calwater Planning Watersheds are composed of grasslands, conifer, mixed hardwood/conifer, hardwoods, and shrubs.   Forested areas tend to be located on north facing slopes, within swales and adjacent to streams.  Some orchard and vineyard areas are contained in McNab Creek, Main Stem Feliz Creek, and Johnson Creek Calwater Planning Watersheds.
