Caption:  This chart shows the number juvenile salmonids planted in the mainstem Russian River as a result of fish rescuing efforts by the California Department of Fish and Game from the period 1939-1972. Rescues were a response to low summer flows. Data were taken directly from Steiner (1996) who compiled information from the California Dept. of Fish and Game. See Info Links for more information.
