Caption:  The chart above shows the cumulative percent harvested between 1985 and 2000 for Calwater Planning Watersheds in the Upper Redwood Creek sub-basin. These data were compiled from THP records provided by the California Department of Forestry, Santa Rosa office. Windy Creek, Noisy Creek, and Cloney Gulch have been harvested over 25% of their total area. This reference harvest is after the Reeves et al. (1992) finding that diversity of salmonids in Oregon coastal streams was diminished when basins were harvested over 25%. For links to more discussion on this topic, see Info Links.
