Caption:  Average annual sediment loads per square mile were calculated from three tributaries of Redwood Creek which are believed to be in relatively good condition in terms of erosion potential and serve as "reference streams" for purposes of comparing localized erosion rates with erosion rates of the basin as a whole. Data and reference value are from the Redwood Creek TMDL. See Info Links for more information.
