Topic	Fish: Outmigrant Catch Totals, Redwood Creek 2001

 

Caption:  This chart shows the total number of fish captured by a rotary screw trap operated in Redwood Creek above Prairie Creek from April 25 to June 9, 2001. The catch is dominated by chinook salmon with coho salmon smolts and steelhead trout smolts of equal abundance. The trap was operated by the Humboldt State University Fisheries Coop. Numbers of fish trapped are not to be construed as a fish population estimate because of unknown trap efficiency and avoidance of the trap by fish at higher flows.
