Caption:  This chart shows mean permeabilities of pool-tail gravels within Mendocino Redwood Company's long-term channel monitoring stream segments in 2000. Whiskers show one standard error about the mean. Permeabilities are low in Rolling Brook and Little South Fork Garcia while the other tributary samples indicate conditions that are better suited for salmonid egg survival. Data were collected by the Mendocino Redwood Company as part of their long-term channel monitoring program. See InfoLinks for more information.
