Caption:  The floating weekly average temperature of Montgomery Creek, which joins the South Fork Big River at Montgomery Woods State Reserve, did not exceed 16.8 degrees C any time during the years measured. Jackson Demonstration State Forest deployed the probe in cooperation with California State Parks. The 16.8 degree C stress threshold for coho salmon was chosen based on Welsh et al.
