Caption:  This chart displays V* data from eight reaches in or near the Big River during 1992. All eight stream reaches are over the 0.21 target threshold from the Big River TMDL. Values are from Knopp (1993). V* is in decimal percent. A V* of 0.5 indicates that half of the pool is filled with fine sediment. See additional sediment topics in the appropriate sub-basin for more V* data. Click Picture tab to see the location of fifteen V* study sites from within Hydrologic Unit 13 near the Big River. Data were provided by the North Coast Regional Water Quality Control Board. See Info Links for more information.
