Caption:  Water quality parameters have been measured in an on-going program by the California Department of Fish and Game in various watersheds in Marin and Sonoma counties from 1991-2002. The graph shows yearly minimum, mean, and maximum pH measurements in Bloomfield Fork, a tributary to Americano Creek, from 1997-2000. The reference values represent the North Coast Regional Water Quality Control Board (NCRWQCB) 2001 Basin Plan pH range objective of 6.5-8.5 (CRWQCB, 2001). See Map for sampling locations and Info Links for more information.
