| Caption: The average dissolved oxygen (D.O.) in milligrams per liter of Upper Klamath Lake at Shoal Bay fluctuates from super saturated (>10mg/l) to levels that are stressful for salmonids (<5 mg/l). High D.O. is generally associated with algae blooms and severe D.O. sags are usually as a result of algae die-offs in Upper Klamath Lake. Please note, however, that data probes may catch live or dead algae which may skew results. Hydrolab probes were only deployed from April or May to October or November annually.
